DURJOY BISWAS

Architect by profession, Durjoy has been trained in Fine Art, Tattooing and building with Bamboo and other natural materials. He has indulged in a variety of creative projects in various roles, which has taken him to explore remote parts of the Indian subcontinent in ways he would only dream of as a kid. He takes inspiration from nature, scientific discoveries and his own unique experiences to create art, manually or with the help of technology.

Durjoy was accepted as a Masters Student of Media Art and Design, at Bauhaus Universität Weimar, Germany in 2022, but life took another turn. Now he is working closely with practitioners of Permaculture, Agroforestry and also helping people in Tribal areas of Northeast India, and other parts of the world to share their culture, building methods, and knowledge about Forests, Food and Architecture to the rest of the World through Digital Media, Workshops and Seminars.
